Toolbar Chest is a tiny application that may be really useful for all people who actively use Internet Explorer for Internet surfing. I think almost every IE user has at least once been in a situation when after long hours of customizing the IE toolbars, a system error or some other applications put all the toolbars in disorder. Toolbar Chest was developed to be of help in such situations. It allows you to save and restore all the IE toolbars settings, like order, position and contents. Just save your favorite configuration and restore it when a problem occurs.
The program is extremely easy to use. Its interface consists of one window, which has only three buttons: for saving the toolbar configuration, restoring it and for viewing the About information. As you can see, the program is not very rich in functionality. The developers could have added, for example, the possibility of saving several files for several IE configurations. Still, the application stays really useful. It is absolutely free and can be easily downloaded from the developer's home page. You can also find a utility with similar functions for Outlook Express there. |
